Migration is one of the most debated topics of today’s political scene, even though this phenomenon has existed since the beginning of humanity. This occurrence is perceived nowadays as a threat by most societies, a problem that needs solving; this article will argue that the concept of migration is multi-causal process which affects different aspects of our societies: it is a complex phenomenon which encompasses economic, political, and sociological fields.
